What an opportunity. Biden has terrible #'s. Dems in Congress aren't in much better shape. The public perception right now is that blame for any economic woes lies w/ Democrats.
So what do they do? Pursue a lame tit-for-tat impeachment proceeding at their master's instigation, and flirt w/ what looks like a likely gov't shutdown, which will allow Dems to shift a lot of economic blame to Republicans.
They cannot get out of their own way. Which is why they continue to lose elections. This is easy stuff - low hanging fruit. But they have very few rational, intelligent individuals to guide them these days.
