Driving a golf cart at his club in Sterling, Virginia – just 25 miles outside Washington, D.C. – the former president was not pictured with any golf clubs and some noted it did not appear that he was actually playing golf while on the course.

Images emerged of Trump driving the golf cart sometimes solo and at other times with his son Eric riding shotgun. Trump donned a white polo, black sport pants, white golf shoes and his signature red Make America Great Again cap.

A group of men, including what appeared to be former Trump lawyer Ty Cobb, were seen huddling with the former president on the course Monday, but no golf clubs were in sight.

Cobb told CBS News this weekend that he believes the chances of the former president facing an indictment are 'very high', resulting in a ban on him running for office again.

Although he feels the impending indictment could be due to the ongoing FBI probe, he added Trump is more likely to be indicted over his connection to the Capitol riot on January 6, 2021, than anything the DOJ is currently
investigating.

He would have to be convicted and the charge would have to be a felony for the ban to kick in. So Trump might face a choice between copping a plea to a misdemeanor if it were offered or going for broke. He very likely would cop the plea, believing he can BS his voters into liking that choice just fine. In the end it might come down to Garland being the one to go for broke or not.

He should be since there has been a six year govt sanctioned plan to convict him of a crime so he can never hold public office again.

So now it's down to speculating not so much on if DJT will be indicted, but what he will be indicted on first.

Well, it would do America good to see Trump convicted. Prison would be the best case for American morality and confidence in government.
 
It would seem that if he is convicted on anything related to 1-6 that the 14th Amendment would prevent him from ever holding office.

They already have surveillance videos from all the security cameras at Mar-A-Lardo. They used them as part of the basis for the search warrant.

I don't care if he goes to prison or not.

I just want to see him charged, tried in public so the details and extent of his treason is exposed for all to see, then convicted.

Put him on probation for life, fine the shit out of him and bar him from ever running for or holding public office again and I'll be happy.

And hopefully all his wannabe MAGAbot mini-Trumps in the GOP will be forced by his tanked popularity to denounce and distance themselves from him.

Basically just have the funk and stink of Trumpism scrubbed clean from our politics.

Let him grow old and die in shame and isolation.

Why the fuck would I care much whether an ex-President gets indicted or not?

Even if he got convicted - which I HIGHLY doubt - of something serious?
Again - so what?

Does it help the economy, the military, help feed the poor, shelter the homeless, balance the budget?
No.

If he is guilty - fine...penalize him.

But the only people that this means a LOT to (other than his family) are the small-minded people who adore him.
