Few people are as adept at talking out of both sides of their mouth as Kevin McCarthy. The majority leader who on Jan. 7, 2021 told members of the House of Representatives that Trump "bears responsibility" for the mob assault they had been forced to cower from changed the music yesterday. He warned the Attorney General to "preserve your records" and "clear your schedule". This because the FBI searched the premises for classified records "taken" (a nice way of saying "stolen") by the bearer of responsibility. "Preserve your records"? Does McCarthy suspect Garland is like Trump?

Agreed. The Republican leadership are afraid of the monster Trump has created. This won't be over until a few hundred of Trump's WSEs are dead in the streets after they attack another Federal Daycare Center.

The only Republicans in Congress with strong spines are Cheney and Kinzinger. Sad to see the collapse of the Republican Party into a cult of personality.

We're already heard that Garland shopped for a pushover judge. Not likely. In the first place, it was a federal judge confirmed by the Congress, not some political crony put on a court by a governor. Secondly, any judge would anticipate the shit storm he was unleashing and be wary.

This is HUUUUUGE. Garland wouldn't risk such a move unless he had HARD evidence of a crime and was able to present that evidence to a judge.

If this blew back on him or anyone else, it would be horrible for everyone. Ergo, I'm confident this is rock-solid despite the whining of Pedo Don's cucks, criminals and terrorists.
