The electoral college violates the constitution

The argument is asinine; because it was implemented so that more populated States had no more say so then less populated States.

After witnessing what was and had been occurring in Europe they did not want a Democratic Government, similar to a lot of the European countries; because a true democracy are 3 wolves and 2 sheep voting for what supper is going to be.

Frontier-Loving Americans Didn't Want to Get Stuck in the Crowded States

The majority wanted it that way, even though it superficially went against their self-interest. So it was pure democracy, no matter how you political elitists want to spin it.

The Virginians wanted proportional representation in Congress, while the New Englanders wanted equal representation. The EC reflects the compromise to blend both systems into the bicameral legislature.

You lose. And will lose, because the smaller states will never amend and everyone is treated equally under the law. No on is treated different.

Stop being butt hurt and move on.

The hypocrites waited until the election results came in before making PV PC. The reason for that was they were afraid someone with fanatical support like Trump might win in landslides where he won, while Hillary would only have moderate or slim victories but in enough states to squeeze out an EC victory and lose badly in the PV. Just like the Far Right, the Preppy Progressives think the majority of people are scum and are afraid of being outnumbered by unprivileged Americans. What this country needs is an ambidextrous guillotine to amputate both wings of the Birth-Class Supremacy elitist snobs.

I don't see the EC going away anytime soon, however, I think this is one of the more reasoned arguments for changing how it is currently implemented:

There’s now another suit, filed in Colorado this week, where two Democratic electors are trying to undo the Colorado law that demands that all nine electors vote for the winner of the state’s popular vote (Hillary Clinton in this instance). They seek to be freed up to vote for someone of their choosing, neither Clinton nor Trump. As they put it: “Plaintiffs may vote for a consensus candidate, other than Clinton or Trump, upon whom electors from both parties and along the ideological spectrum can agree, so as to prevent the unqualified Mr. Trump and Mr. Pence from ascending to the highest offices in the United States.” These electors aren’t relying on the Equal Protection argument, but rather on the idea that the whole purpose of the Electoral College was to allow electors to vote as they saw fit, and state laws forcing them to support a candidate renders the whole idea of electors “superfluous.” The Colorado plaintiffs claim that the Constitution intends for the Electoral College to “be a deliberative and independent body free to cast votes for whomever they deem to be the most fit and qualified candidates.” These plaintiffs allege that “nominees for President and Vice-President, Donald Trump and Mike Pence, represent a unique danger to the Republic and embody the very reason why the Founders created the Electoral College.”

We Won't Live Free Until the Swamplords Live in Fear

We can't allow that, although I'm sure the Establishment wants to have that option in order to override the will of the people through bribery or elitism. The electors are just delivery boys and should remember that the Second Amendment will cut them down to size if they get all high and mighty.
