Reagan was a messed up politician, but Trump is just an overall messed up person. He uncompromisingly feels absolved by himself, and is morally ill.
 
Reagan's legacy is spotted with controversy, but at least he was a likeable guy. Did you ever see that speech he was giving when a balloon popped? No way Trump would be about to think on his feet that quickly.

No shit. Reagan was despised as a heartless war monger and on par with w as to loathing from Dems, but trump is in a league of his own surpassing Nixon at his nadir by miles. The revulsion is unchartable, the graph runs off the paper and drops onto the floor into gallons of green vomit.

I didn’t like some Reagan’s politics, he got off for the Iran Contra ordeal. He was a decent enough man. He seemed likeable.

Nixon and Trump are a better comparison.

Better but still inapt. Nixon won landslide re-election and had legislative accomplishments. Trump is singular in his incompetence mendacity and abject failure to perform the function of his charge.

Yes, Nixon was knowledgeable about government and its function, Trump is functioning at a 3rd grade level. He thought he could run government in the same way he runs his business. He can’t.
