The Daily injustice report vol. 16

* At least two Denver Colorado police officers have been accused of sneaking into a couple’s home and then arresting them for refusing to let the police in without a warrant after an animal control officer complained about them not answering the door. The woman claims she was violently arrested even though she’s pregnant. She told police they were not welcomed when they asked to come in, but officers entered through the garage door and arrested the couple. the cops and city are being extremely quiet over this one. at least they didn't shoot their dog.

* Three Grand Junction Colorado police officers are under investigation on allegations that they went through a homeless encampment and slashed tents, punctured bike tires, and destroyed property without cause. While the three are under investigation, police have been handing out replacement tents to the homeless, sparking speculation that this is a sign that police are admitting that the incident occurred as alleged.

* A Richland County South Carolina deputy who is assigned as a school resource officer has been arrested on unspecified criminal domestic violence charges.

* The now-former Mooresville North Carolina police chief is going to be indicted for embezzlement, obstruction, and other charges associated with an investigation into financial discrepancies in a “Cops for Kids” charity program that he ran while he was police chief for that department.

* The police chief for Earle Arkansas has agreed to a plea deal that drops most of the charges associated with his possession of stolen firearms while he was the police chief in Wheatley Arkansas. He may still face prison time despite the plea for possessing a stolen machine gun and for having a firearm that had the serial numbers removed.this one will be interesting because there was a case a few years ago in Illinois where a cop had an illegal machine gun, was convicted at trial, then had the conviction overturned on appeal because the law was unconstitutionally vague as it applied to him.

* The Pittsburgh Pennsylvania police department is accused of violating their own policies and a recent consent decree with the federal government when they refused to investigate an incident where an officer had tasered a man for talking back to him. That case resulted in a lawsuit that was settled out of court, but whenever a suit is filed it is supposed to trigger an automatic investigation, which never happened.let me show you my 'shocked' face.

* Atlanta Georgia police are investigating claims from eye-witnesses that a police officer rear-ended a moped and sent the moped’s driver to the hospital with several injuries. The details are a bit murky so far, but this one may bear watching.

* A Truckee California police officer has been subjected to an unspecified disciplinary action after an investigation into a video he posted on YouTube showing the officer fire a rifle into his birthday cake which he then urinated on before eating it.

do you think you could specify what is unhinged or is a rant?

or is it that you just hate the bad cops being exposed, placing a bad name on your beloved badge wearers?

Like I said, you obviously believe that all Minorities are criminals; because it's a fact that A LOT (by your standards 51%) are involved.

You suck
and
It sucks to be you. :good4u:

so police officers don't need to be held to a higher standard, giving that we allow them much more authority than the average citizen?

do what you want to. i'm not an official member and they'll say that.

I told you before, but your mentality precludes you from acknowledging it, that I believe in the oath keepers and their mission. My mission just goes further.

In view of that, perhaps you should remove their organization's name from your signature.

being former active duty military, i also took an oath to the constitution. so no. I won't be removing it. I am an oath keeper, just not part of their organization.

Every single day, without fail, I'll bet there are millions of acts of bravery, kindness, and helpfulness performed by police officers.

How many police officers are there in the US?

Some are going to be bad.

Others are going to be accused of misconduct.

I believe that most of these hundreds of thousands of police are doing a great job against serious opposition and trivial abuse - like your attitude that all cops are bad.

You should be ashamed, IMHO.

You've done more to undermine the Oath Keepers rep than Obama.

i'm sure there are. when I read about them, i'm happy.

How many police officers are there in the US?
just over half a million last time I read the stat.

Some are going to be bad.

Others are going to be accused of misconduct.
so far, the ratio i've seen of good cop conduct to bad cop conduct, bodes badly for law enforcement.

Your blithe assertions (as usual sans verifiable statistical evidence) don't work for me.

It's none of my concern, but why aren't you a member of Oath Keepers?

so police officers don't need to be held to a higher standard, giving that we allow them much more authority than the average citizen?

You're not holding anyone to a higher authority.
All you're doing is using this forum to bitch and moan, like a punk who's been caught with his hand in the cookie jar.

Try holding yourself to a "higher standard" and then come talk about how that's working.

You're just another bitch with low self-esteem, who hopes he can find an agenda that others will latch on to and thereby make himself appear to be something.

You're a coward.

because they don't go far enough, according to their oath. They swore to defend against enemies foreign and domestic. Any civilian or military leader that gives an illegal order becomes an enemy to that constitution.

I served, did you?

huh, coward?

What, exactly, do you mean by "far enough"?

What are you prepared to do that Oath Keepers are not?
