I'm glad that you confess that an "eternal victim" virtue-signaling is the best pro-Israeli argument anybody is ever going to hear. The immediate deflection of a core question and an immediate pivot to an unhinged, incoherent "you people" rant, is why Israel will be the one bogey that actually affects Trump in a negative way.

Israel already flagrantly sabotaged one peace deal.

Meir Kahane was an extreme right wing Israeli politician who believed in removing all “Arabs”. His views were considered so extreme that he was arrested more than 60 times in Israel. In 1984, his took the one seat that his Kach party gained but in 1988 he was barred from standing again.

This article asserts that much of what he stood for, certainly in terms of ethnic cleansing has now become mainstream. This is not new but becoming more entrenched. This 2022 article “Kahanism: A legacy of violence and racism in Israel” also explored these issues, amongst which it notes that the USA *under Biden) removed the designation of terrorism from a Kahanist group. The reason given was that it had not been linked to a terrorist incident since 2005 but there were strong objections from experts who asserted that “the radical right-wing movement may be even more influential today than during its inception.”

In the nearly three years since then, such influence has strengthened, especially since October 7th. with the likes of Ben Gvir (until recently) and Smotrich in the government.

As usual, Thomas Sowell's blathering omits certain crucial details: America has given around $22 BILLION to Israel since the October 7, 2024 Hamas attack. That is included in the total of $260 BILLION the USA has given Israel since 1946. This is one of the reasons why Israeli citizens have universal healthcare (Americans don't). Israeli citizens have access to an "education fund" that Americans would kill for.

Bottom line: If we were to halt all funding to Israel tomorrow, the country would economically collapse in a few months and disappear within a year.

During his senatorial career, Joe Biden famously stated in public that if the state of Israel didn't exist, America would have to create one in order to "further our interest in the region".

Everything said here can be easily verifies with a little google elbow grease.

So yeah Tommy (Sowell and Pendergrast) American citizens and politicians can jolly well "second guess" the machinations in Israel ... as essentially we f***ing own them.

Sowell isn't anything like Coulter. Naturally you lump all who disagree with you into the same demonization bucket. You aren't smart enough to discern differences, much less nuances. Both are American champions who have made great contributions to discussions of American issues.

Sowell is simply misinformed on Israel, as are many Christians. That doesn't detract from his other perspectives.
