He doesn't like Trump and just didn't vote for President in 2016 and that is why he voted Democrat in 2020. He is so disgusted by this he said he will vote Republican this time around even if Trump is the candidate. I suspect this will have results the Democrats won't like in 2024. Personally I decided a while back that I will cast my primary vote for DeSantis because he doesn't have as high of negatives as Trump. I think DeSantis will be more electable to more people like my brother. But this may propel Trump to a victory in a primary because a lot of people won't like this and ultimately Trump will beat this. This will turn people off of Democrats.

This isn't a national issue, this is for New York to handle.

The are trying to use FEC FEDERAL law to upgrade the charge to a felony plus the New York law by itself has already had the statute of limitations expire without adding the Federal law. So yes it is a national issue too.

One...Bragg is attempting to prosecute Trump for a crime Trump committed.

Two...if anyone ever deserved to spend time in prison for a crime he/she committed, Trump is that "anyone."

Three...it should not be necessary to prevent Trump from running for office. The American people should have a clear major majority with enough sense that such a move should be unnecessary. The fact that Trump got over 70,000,000 votes in 2020 is an insult to America and American intelligence.

Four...I do not think any prosecution of Trump will blow back on the Democrats.

Five...(and I suspect you have guessed this already)...I think Trump is one of the most disgusting people ever to infect our planet.
