Shaken, not stirred!
So our stalwart Senate has just confirmed Sen. Markwayne Mullin (R-Okl.) as the new head of DHS, replacing the seriously incompetent and (and a little scary) Kristi Noem. Like Noem, Mullin was a choice of Cheeto Jeezus.
Unfortunately, what they replaced her with is a joker with a shady private business past, NO experience in law enforcement on any level. What he does have is a solid cheer leading record for the Dump regime and some questionable attitudes towards the authoritarian/fascistic leanings of the administration and various groups/individuals in the country.
His one saving grace is that he "appears" to have a better grasp of BS needed to stay in the congress ... but only slightly better than Noem (save for wanting to fight a congressional hearing witness on the floor of the House). This does not bode well for the American people for the next 3 years.
We are living in interesting times.
