Shaken, not stirred!
Now I seem to recall the Orange Oaf wailing (among other things) that the Dems illegally engaged in election interference that cost him the 2020 election. Of course, he couldn't prove it in any court of law, but that hasn't stopped him echoing similar claims since then (enabled by the right wing media noise machine).
But as always, hypocrisy is displayed by the Orange Oaf and his minions. And at this point, they are so blatant in their arrogant lies and actions that they are hurting their own cause.
Yesterday, House Spkr. Mike "Grinder" Johnson made yet another podium declaration that the serious problems caused by this latest shutdown is all the fault of the Democrats, and that the Republican Party has the back of the people.
Yet prior to that, the Orange Oaf stated in a TV interview that if NYC elected Democratic-Socialist Zorhan Mamdani as mayor, he couldn't see giving federal funds to a city run by (in his words) a communist.
Then right after Johnson made his statements, Oaf went on his website "Truth Social" and stated that unless Mario Cuomo was elected mayor of NYC (Cuomo the INDEPNDENT, NOT SLIWA THE REGISTERED AND LOCALLY ENDORSED REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE), he would suspend releasing SNAP benefits. This despite 2 federal court rulings that he is directed by law to release emergency SNAP funds (as designated to do during a congressional shutdown) ... rulings that initially the Oaf's administration agreed to.
THIS IS AN IMPEACHABLE OFFENSE! If the Dems should gain adequate control of the House and/or Senate, they should move to do so.
