The Democrats latest proposal involves raising taxes for the rich while helping the poor and the elderly a suggestion which appears preposterous to their opponents.

Well, I pull most of my money out of the bank when I get paid, except for the $2.00 required to keep the account open. As long as they still use cash, that's what I'll do. People love to see cash coming at them; I had one store owner give me a free drink just because I paid him in cash, and he actually started doing that for other people, too. It costs retailers a massive amount of money each year just to have the software to run all those debit transactions. Debit cards are the worst as far as costing consumers and businesses money. I don't look at this as a tax on the poor, but I do look at this as an attempt to solve a problem by taking more money out of the economy. Want to save some money and keep this country afloat? Send illegals home. According to immigrationcounters.com, which pulls most of their information from the Department of Homeland Security and Department of Justice, almost $400 billion has been spent on social services for illegals since 1996, over $170 billion has been spent on educating illegal immigrant children since 1996, over $26 billion has been spent to house incarcerated illegals since 2008, and there are almost 24 million illegals estimated to be in this country; around 600,000 aren't Mexican, and many illegals here now are those who have expired visas from Middle Eastern countries. We live in a day and age where we cannot even afford to pay our own bills as a nation and we aren't sending people here illegally home? Screw your stupid 1% tax... send the illegals home. It may not solve everything, but it will fix some of the problem and give us some breathing room.
