Seriously? Those cows we almost certainly birthed over two years ago....how is this Trumps fault?
Please be specific.
Beef herds have been in decline for something like 5 years. are now the smallest per capita ever recorded, the records go back 70 years.Seriously?
Price is set when they go to market, not when they are born.
I just returned from the grocers and had to put back the ground beef, it was too costly. Truth be told, I haven't tasted red meat since the shut down, can't afford it. I've eaten enough chicken to lay a fuckin egg. I don't get food stamps and pay cash for everything on my fixed income, it really sucks to be a senior in this economy, bar none.....for doing such a great job of "lowering" prices ...

How is this Trumps fault? You can pin the last 10 months on him, the cows going to market now have nothing to do with the last 10 months.
Costco Prime was about $20 for many years.....$33 is a lot more. Also, for prime NY strip $30ish per pound isn't really much more than a couple of years ago and that's a very nice piece of meat in the pic.
Where you shop makes a difference too.Costco Prime was about $20 for many years.....$33 is a lot more.
Yes the steaks in the pic are abnormally well trimmed....the price per lb should go up.
That is what they say.....the truth is likely otherwise.....but I have a Celebration of Life to get to.......I might come back.Where you shop makes a difference too.
The biggest driver of beef prices at the moment is climate change.

That would be "no" to both questions. The point = trump promised he was going to lower prices on all consumer goods.
Is this price lower than it was when he took office?
Is it lower than it was during Biden's tenure?
