anyways....there is a group called Sinai Province (ISIS) that had fired a guided missile (TOW?) at an Egyptian ship last year.

This would have to be an advanced MANPAD -which are lousy all over Syria and before that Libya.
ifit was at 37k feet.

I don't know the military details but one of 'terrorist' groups will probably claim credit soon.

well we know Sinai Prvince brought down the Russian airliner (sharm el sheikh)- but I never really found out how -probably a bomb on board though
