Hundreds of outlets have claimed that Saudi Arabia has taken zero refugees--a ludicrous, but rarely fact-checked statement.

Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE are not parties to any of the UN protocols on refugees, and so through this technicality, they, along with most of their refugees, are excluded from many refugee counting mechanisms.

Syrians residing in Saudi Arabia are classified as "Arab brothers and sisters in distress" instead of refugees covered by UN treaties.

The government of Saudi Arabia has stated that it has, over the past five years since the start of the conflict, hosted 2.5 million refugees.

Al-Arabiya, a news outlet based in the UAE, has noted that "Saudi authorities granted Syrians the right of residency and work, and provided them with education and health services for free."

Over 100,000 children are currently receiving education in the country's schools.

Saudi Arabia is not alone in attempts to provide education for the refugees, with Lebanon now providing schooling for another 100,000 child refugees.

The US's pitiful responses cannot be excused by this lie.

Yeah, except Turkey has taken in 2 million refugees, and Lebanon and Jordan have a million each. Syrian refugees are actually like a quarter of Jordan's population.
 
The one neighbor that's taken in 0 refugees is Israel. Because you're not allowed to step foot in that glorious beacon of Middle Eastern democracy and tolerance if you're not a Jew.

Which has what to do with the FACT that their are plenty of places, other then the West, that they could resettle in; unless they don't trust those countries. :dunno:

The Syrians NEED to come to the USA because this is where their kinspeople are. They're all owning and running gas station/convenience stores, hotels and motels, high tech stores, digital media outlets, heck, they're even working as welders, laborers, carpenters (wasn't the man called Jesus a carpenter) and about every occupation you can name or imagine. What is it about hate that causes so many afflicted by it to be so damned stupid?
 
There were millions of places the Pilgrams could have gone to. I am thankful they chose North America.
