The self-aggrandizing “Pharma Bro” known for hiking up the price of an AIDS drug has thrown his political support behind a man with another giant ego: Trump.

Martin Shkreli, the 33-year-old former CEO of Turing Pharmaceuticals, said on Twitter that he would vote for the Republican.

“I support him,” he said. The conversation early Friday saw the embattled entrepreneur emulating his preferred candidate by showing a love of attention and speaking off the cuff.

“I’m always cheering for a huge recession, global mayhem,” he said.

Shkreli is currently awaiting trial for securities fraud.

It remains to be seen how Trump will react to Shkreli’s support, as the real estate tycoon previously called him “a spoiled brat.”

“That guy is nothing. He’s zero. He’s nothing. He ought to be ashamed of himself,” the candidate said in September.

Trump still hasn’t spoken out against his anti-Semitic supporters, who also threatened New York Times reporter Jonathan Weisman, called for the death of conservative political commentator Ben Shapiro and his children, and told conservative writer Bethany Mandel she deserved “the oven.”

That silence has Trump’s neo-Nazi fans convinced the candidate is secretly on their side.

“We interpret that as an endorsement,” Andrew Anglin, said the founder of the neo-Nazi website the Daily Stormer, named for the Hitler-era tabloid Der Stürmer.

“Glorious Leader Donald Trump Refuses to Denounce Stormer Troll Army,” Anglin, who describes himself and his readers as “virulent” Trump supporters, posted on his website after the CNN interview. “We support Trump because he is the savior of the White race, sent by God to free us from the shackles of the Jew occupation and establish a 1000 year Reich.”

Anglin and Trump’s other neo-Nazi supporters love that he called Mexican immigrants rapists, and back his plan to ban all of the planet’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the U.S. But they’re also convinced he’ll take on Jews.

shkreli is the man. He also has a really funny/informative youtube channel where he streams all the time. He rocks.
