Used to be a guy who rode by my house in Upstate NY. My neighbor had a huge mongrel dog that would get right to the edge of the street and bark at him as he went by. One day I'm working in the yard and I hear the dog barking for an extended period of time, so I walked over and there was the guy trying to shout the dog down- and losing badly. I asked him what the hell he thought he was doing and all he could say was that he didn't like the dog barking at him. I told him the dog was protecting his property, and in the county here the property line goes to the center of the pavement, so since he's on the wrong side of the road the dog is doing him a favor by not chewing his leg off.
I saw the same guy weeks later at an intersection, stopped for a red light trying to balance the bike since he had his feet strapped in. He dumped it right next to me and almost got run over by cars passing in the other direction. He shook the bike off his feet, stood up, and threw it across the street, hitting the storefront of a building and almost breaking the glass.
Some of these bikers are real nut cases.
