Bush just left and his foreign policy won't be judged for years to come as we see the outcome of Iraq and Afghanistan....So no, for now I still hold Carter as the worst President in foreign policy and domestic policy..
That's all I'm going to say on it.. I'm tired and not in the mood to argue..I've got some things going on with me right now that is more important..:clink:

The USA has continued to do business with China despite Tenneman Square.

The USA continued to ship tons of grain to the former Soviet Union during the Cold War.

The USA was doing negotiations with the Taliban right up to a month before 9/11.

The USA supported viscious dictators like Suharto, Hussein, Samoza, Pinochet, Marcos, Shah Pahvil.

But please note that the article refers to statements made EARLIER THIS MONTH. Time will tell if that invitation will stay open...or what the USA will do under Obama's guidence.
 
It's an unfortunate fact that we can do nothing in Iran without an invasion. Words will not help the Iranian people. Words from our president are the worst thing that can happen for the protesters. In fact, right now in Iran they are playing tapes of Obama with fake translations saying that he supports the protesters. Our name is poison in that region. Don't be naive.
