On May 21, 2023, she sent an email to the headmaster of a school in Palm Beach, Palm Beach County, Florida, USA, in which she wrote, “I will state that I will shoot Donald Trump Sr. AND Barron Trump straight in the face at any opportunity that I get!”
On June 5, 2023, she sent an email to the same headmaster, in which she wrote, “I am going to slam a bullet in Baron Trump’s head with his father IN SELF DEFENSE!”
On June 14, 2023, U.S. Secret Service agents interviewed her at the agency’s field office in Chicago. She was shown copies of the emails she send on May 21, 2023 and June 5, 2023 and she admitted to sending them.
On August 9, 2023, U.S. Magistrate Judge William Matthewman signed a criminal complaint filed against her by U.S. Secret Service special agent John Lear.
She was 41 years old when U.S. Secret Service agents arrested her in Plainfield. She appeared in a courtroom of Dirksen Federal Building in Chicago before Judge Jeffrey Cummings. On August 23, 2023, she will attend a detention hearing.
