Syria welcomes Russian proposals for military bases, recognises annexed territories

Al-Assad, who met President Vladimir Putin in the Kremlin on Wednesday, said he supported Russia’s war in Ukraine and that Damascus recognises the territories claimed by Russia in Ukraine.

The West cannot seriously object to this announcement by Assad as Syria is, currently, illegally occupied by the US army.
The US government might want to wallow in hypocrisy with impunity- but it is being judged . To date, its immorality is legendary.
Why is the US illegally occupying Syria ? For ' Israel's security ' of course. Again, the West's unjustifiable compliance with the demands of Neo-Zionist fascists has exposed us to charges of hypocrisy and immorality- and in this instance discredited any objections we might have to the self-determination of the Donbas and Crimea.
Israel is a very small state- but it is wagging a very large dog.
Cut off the funds. Even decent Israelis want their fascist government terminated.
Wouldn't you like America's voice to be respected again ?
