I can't believe this, I saw Emmanuelle in Avignon, France in 1974 when picking grapes whilst bumming around Europe. It was the uncensored version with the infamous smoking scene set in Bangkok.

I can understand the kids not knowing but I'm sure that a few of the older posters remember Emmanuelle well enough.

I'm pretty sure I used to watch her back in the day on late night Showtime or Cinemax.

What I liked about her, apart from the obvious was that when she spoke French it was actually easier to understand because she had a Dutch accent.
