I said a few times that Sweden would pay the price for its foolhardy and extremely naive immigration policies and so it's come to pass.

"The Prime Minister of*Sweden*has vowed his country will 'never go back' to recent levels of mass*immigration*after it emerged the terrorist who killed four people in a truck attack was a failed asylum seeker.

Stefan Löfven pledged to change his country's liberal attitude, insisting the massive influx allowed during the 2015 migrant crisis would never happen again.

In Trump’s recent interview with Fox News’ Tucker Carlson, the President said that for American Muslims, “assimilation has been very, very hard. It’s been a very, very difficult process.” His comments echoed his earlier statements about Muslim immigrants made to Sean Hannity back in June: *

"Assimilation has been very hard. It’s almost—I won’t say nonexistent, but it gets to be pretty close. And I’m talking about second and third generation. They come—they don’t—for some reason, there’s no real assimilation."

As is the case with many other issues, Trump is wrong. After consulting data and experts, this claim was deemed “false” by Politifact. The reality is that Muslim immigrants succesfully assimilate into American society.

It was either Muslims in the 7th Century, 8th Century, 9th Century... or possibly even the 21st Century. I tend to think that it's been a combination of Muslims in all fifteen of the them, so far.

No, but I have Norwegian friends. And you are not American, but you seem to spend at least one third of your life passing judgment on America.

Do large groups of human beings always contain a few criminals. Yes.

I am simply pointing out bigotry when I see it. I do not think people who spend years, and make hundreds of threads about the alleged evil of Islam, are not doing it as a simple public service, as a way of simply echoing the day's news. I believe bigotry, hatred, and resentment are at the core of these actions.

I have to be able to respect myself. I feel I am on the right side of history, and that in a generation or two people will be asking why persons today could have spent so much time and energy trying to dehumanize one-quarter of the human population of the Earth

I am passing judgement on you, you are a typical US progressive that has no real idea what is happening so likes to just pontificate anyway. Talk to some Swedes and see what they have to say, then come back to me.

Whilst you are about it, ask yourself why two of the most liberal countries in the world, namely Holland and Sweden, have changed their attitudes to Muslim immigration.
