Former Swedish PM: More murders in Florida where Trump spoke than in Sweden last year​

Former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt responded to President Trump’s remarks on Sweden again — this time with statistics on the country’s crime rates.

In a tweet Monday morning, Bildt said the counties Trump made the speech at in Florida experienced higher murder rates last year than the whole country of Sweden did.

“Last year there were app 50% more murders only in Orlando/Orange in Florida, where Trump spoke the other day, than in all of Sweden. Bad,” Bildt tweeted.


The largest mass shooting in U.S. history occurred at an Orlando, Fla., nightclub in June 2016 when Omar Mateen entered the Pulse Nightclub and shot and killed 49 people. He was killed at the nightclub after a shoot-out with police.

Officials said Mateen pledged allegiance ISIS in a 911 call during the attack. Before the attack, the FBI had interviewed Mateen on three separate occasions.

Bildt tweeted the statistics after he had already responded to Trump’s comments over the weekend.

“Sweden? Terror attack? What has he been smoking? Questions abound,” Bildt tweeted on Sunday.

Trump clarified his comments on Sunday, saying he was referencing a Fox News segment on immigration in Sweden.

“My statement as to what’s happening in Sweden was in reference to a story that was broadcast on @FoxNews concerning immigrants & Sweden,” Trump tweeted Sunday.
The Fox News segment, aired on “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” featured a documentary filmmaker who linked Sweden’s immigration policies to rising crime rates.

However, Reuters reported that crime rates in the country have decreased since 2005 even as hundreds of thousands of refugees have entered the country.​

Trump doesn't approve of increasing wages, so he suckered you on that one, automation has taken the once high paying factory jobs, so those aren't coming back. Those telemarketing jobs don't pay that well. Americans aren't trained for many high paying jobs, so he better do something about education or job training first.

He hasnt put country first in his own businesses, but he tells a good lie! He's a master at it. He's a rich salesmen, you dumbasses haven't figured that out, yet.

Fierce, populist rhetoric, perhaps. But these are serious issues that are now worrying ethnic Swedes, as the authorities say they are preparing for another 140,000 migrants to arrive this year, 27,000 of them underage and most of them male.
