Yes he was. He was donating it to the Trump foundation...
trump pointedly rarely donated to the "trump foundation", mostly just taking money from it.
For this, the "trump foundation" admitted to criminal acts, and started dissolving in 2018. It was legally banned from taking more contributions. So trump's failure to donate 2020's salary to any charity could not be excused by donating to the "trump foundation" which could not have legally accepted money.
Trump and Ivanka and the other trump brats are not allowed to have charities in NY because they robbed theirs. Just Trump being Trump.
The trump foundation "donated" $7 to the Boy Scouts... Which seems like a tiny amount of money, to a good organization, so why would it upset me?
It was the membership fee for trump's son baron. trump literally stole $7 for a charity so his son could be a Boy Scout. This makes trump a pathological thief. He could have afforded the $7 fee out of pocket, but trump prefers to steal... EVEN WHEN HE DOES NOT HAVE TO!!!
