The list of troubling things about Trump is exhaustive. It's easier to isolate those things that aren't abhorrent, and even that short list is debatable.
Trumps good qualities:
1. Appears to be able to motivate through speaking
2. Managed to amass a fortune, so he can problem solve
3. States variously that he delegates authority and tasks, which should give some comfort
4. Is not a weak person, probably a leader type.
That's about it. The rest is reprehensible, from incuriousness, delusional self confidence as to competence and ability to acquire expertise immediately, racism, demagoguery, chauvinism, incompetence,
rash quixotic & capricious judgment, willingness to abandon US foreign policy developed over decades with little or no consideration or analysis (if even awareness)
did I mention serial and shameless mendacity?
