Told that no Republican backed the measure, White House press secretary Robert Gibbs reacted by citing another number: "3.5 million jobs that we look forward to saving or creating."

I can see the spin already. When it doesn't work, the dems will simply say that had they not passed this bill, you could add 3.5 million MORE unemployed. See, we SAVED 3.5 million from losing their jobs because we passed this pork bill.

o you know it... every other word in any speach you hear supporting it is making an excuse for why it will fail... they dont even have confidence in what they are tring to do. then you pretty much have every campain promise go out the window with this bill too.
