Hey everyone. I will be using this page to track the state of the general election as we move forward. I will include the likely result by state as of current polling. I will take polls from may 3, when Trump became the presumptive nominee, onward. Initially I will just replace the polls with the latest one and hopefully after the GOP convention there will be enough polling to get aggregate data. Most of the polls will come from real clear politics. If the poll does not come from there I will place a link after the poll. I will only include states which have had polling done in this page 1) because I believe this is a realignment year. 2) It allows me to fill up the data organically (less work initially) 3) It seems more fun this way. States which are +/- 5 I will place in the undecided column and states with +6 I will give to the respective candidate. Updates will come as I get more polls. Trump Vs Clinton Fight!
Trump 19 EV Clinton 52 EV Undecided 100 EV
Trump - 19 EV
Louisiana - Trump + 16 - 8 EV
West Virginia - Trump + 27 - 5 EV
Utah - Trump + 13 - 6 EV https://twitter.com/PpollingNumbers/status/732206270741123075
Clinton - 52 EV
Oregon - Clinton + 11 - 7 EV
Massachusetts - Clinton + 24 - 11 EV
North Carolina - Clinton + 9 - 15 EV
New Jersey - Clinton + 7 -14 EV
New Mexico - Clinton + 8 - 5 EV https://twitter.com/politics_polls/status/732591212675223553
Undecided - 100 EV
New Hampshire - Clinton +2 - 4 EV
Arizona - Trump +4 - 11 EV
Georgia - Trump + 3 - 18 EV
Florida - Clinton +1 - 29 EV
Ohio - Trump + 4 - 18 EV
Pennsylvania - Clinton +1 - 20 EV
Some regular blue and regular red states have some early polling giving the edge towards Clinton. Though the results in NC and NM are very close to my +5 border. AZ and Ohio are close as well and trump has had momentum lately so we may see a change soon. If you have any polls for me to include place it in the comments below.
