Avideo appearing to show former U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo being served with a lawsuit has gone viral on social media.

The lawsuit was brought by a group of American lawyers and journalists who have alleged that the CIA, while Pompeo was director of the agency, spied on them during meetings with Wikileaks founder and whistleblower Julian Assange while he was sheltering at the Ecuadoran embassy in London in an effort to avoid extradition to the U.S.

The Wikileaks Twitter page shared the video on Wednesday and the clip has so far been viewed over 500,000 times.

I see you don't believe in the US Constitution which clearly states the government can't spy on their citizens without a warrant. At least the FBI got a warrant before they surveilled Carter Page.

HE IS NOT AN AMERICAN CITIZEN = NO CONSTITUTION FOR HIM.

IS THERE ANY TOPIC THAT YOU ARE NOT A COMPLETE IGNORAMUS ABOUT?

I DON'T THINK HE HAD TO LIE TO THE FISA COURT TO DO SO, LIKE THE OBAMA DOJ DID TO ILLEGALLY SPY ON TRUMP, WHO IS AN AMERICAN CITIZEN.

The American Government, and all branches, agencies, and departments thereof are entities. Entities cannot be sued- Only individuals can be sued- the reason why Pompeo was named in the suit. I am not saying that there is or isn't any proof that the lawyers phones were scanned for information by the CIA, as this, so far, is an empty accusation with no proof what-so-ever provided in the lawsuit or leaked to the presses, BUT, to be able to pin Pompeo on having anything to do with this, or even knowing about it, would be hard to prove for 4 lawyers. Even if he did know or have anything to do with it, he could lie about it, and this suit would dry up and die a quick death.

It would require the Justice Department or a Congressional Hearing to even investigate this as a crime, AND TRUST ME- THEY WANT NO PART IN THIS- Not any Democrat nor Republican in the current Congress- or the new Congress that will convene after Jan. 1 would touch this with a 10 foot pole.

Now, should the Plaintiffs come up with pertinent evidence- that might arouse some interest, BUT THIS IS JUST ASSANGE IN A LAST-DITCH ACT OF DESPERATION TRYING TO BLUFF THE US GOVERNMENT INTO DROPPING THE CHARGES AGAINST HIM- AND TRUST ME- NO EVIDENCE WILL EVER SHOW UP- BECAUSE THEY HAVE NONE.

If Assange should cooperate and be willing to confess to his crimes and reveal his means and sources, would be the only way he gets any kind of deals. Otherwise, he will spend the rest of his life behind bars as an enemy and traitor of the United States for breaking into US GOVERNMENT COMPUTERS and revealing our Top Military Secrets to the World- that ended up endangering peoples lives and properties.

So you think it is perfectly legal for the CIA to copy the contents of a US Citizen's phone without a warrant? That is what the lawsuit states happened.

Each of the named plaintiffs, and hundreds of others, visited WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange while he was living under political asylum at the Embassy of the government of Ecuador in London,
United Kingdom. Prior to their visits each visitor was required to surrender his or her electronic devices, e.g. smartphones, laptops etc. to employees of Defendant Undercover Global (hereinafter “UC Global”).
Unbeknownst to each of those visitors,

2 Plaintiffs and without their consent, employees of UC Global, acting without the knowledge of the Ecuadorian government, copied the information stored on the devices.
UC Global then provided that information to the Defendant United States Central Intelligence Agency (“CIA”) then headed by Defendant Michael Pompeo. These actions were
authorized and approved by Defendant Pompeo. While the named Plaintiffs initiate this action, the practices complained of violate the rights of well over 100 American citizens who
visited Assange at the Ecuadorian Embassy in London, England (“Embassy”) during his sanctuary, including attorneys who were then representing him, journalists there to
interview him, and even doctors who were then treating him, each of whom have a privileged and confidential connection to the asylee and other clients, sources and patients,
some of whose confidential information was stored on their electronic devices.

Is Trump the only American citizen you care about? By the way, the FBI never copied the contents of Trump's phone and never surveilled anyone working for his campaign.

I doubt it will be thrown out. It seems they have strong evidence from a Spanish investigation proving that the phones of US citizens were copied and the data given to the CIA under Pompeo's orders. Whether they can sue Pompeo personally is another question but it certainly looks like a clear violation of their fourth amendment rights.

The Constitution outlines powers given to the federal government, not rights, liberties, and privileges that are OWNED by the people. Therefore, just like any other person (US Citizen or not), Assange has constitutional rights.

Thanks! The one thing that smells fishy is always Trump. TRUMP always ends up the TRUMP card. Pompeo didn't fart unless Trump told him too, and it better be exactly like Donald wanted to smell and hear! And TRUMP was sensationalized with Assange because he credited him for providing the information to the public that helped seal the deal on his winning of the 2016 election by the further destroying of Hillary. SO, I can see how Trump was thinking that Assange could come in handy for future DIRT DIGGING schemes because he feels that Dirt Digging is necessary for him to acquire whatever he wants- by destroying his adversaries, political rivals, and competition with whatever dirt he can
dig up or MAKE UP!

Incidentally Assange and Donald Trump's minds are the very same. Neither of them has any respect for the law, both had criminal minds and intentions, and the both of them know how to play the game of denial and cover-up, and both of them were fascinated with filing lawsuits, both of them were all about digging dirt and destroying people, both of them were fascinated by acquiring US TOP SECRET documents obviously, and OK I rest, as I could write a book on comparing these two warped minds and flawed human beings.

So, I suppose anything is possible when you think about what motivates these two people. Trump corrupted every other governmental department or agency and why should anyone be surprised that TRUMP corrupted even the State Department and CIA as well using Pompeo as his crony and Henchman as well as the State Department to carry out his wildest schemes.

So there is the Assange connection to Trump right there. And there is the Pompeo connection to Assange right there.

This is exactly what corruption with ill intent looks like!
