I watched the approval on livestream last night so I've been looking around the MSM sites (don't know what's being reported on TV) and have found nothing. A little digging and I find a PDF of the letter from the House Judiciary Committee to the DOJ, found here:

https://judiciary.house.gov/wp-cont...il&utm_term=0_df41eba8fd-053972bb52-101207333

The PDF is a scan of letter so I can't copy/paste the text and the screen grabs I tried to upload are resized by this site making them a bit fuzzy and unreadable for those of you using mobile devices or laptops so I typed out (pardon any typos)just the bulleted scope of what the Committee wants investigated (verbatim).

We call on a newly appointed special counsel to investigate, consistant with appropriate
Regulations, the following questions, many of which were previously posed by this Committee
And remain unanswered:

1) Then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch directing Mr. Comey to mislead the American people on the nature of the Clinton investigation;

2) The shadow cast over our system of justice concerning Secretary Clinton and her involvement in mishandling classified information;

3) FBI and DOJ’s investigative decisions related to former Secretary Clinton’s email investigation, including the propriety and consequence of immunity deals given to potentioal Clinton co-conspirators Cheryl Mills, Heather Samuelson, John Bentel and possibly others;

4) The apparent failure of DOJ to empanel a grand jury to investigate allegations of mishandling of classified information by Hillary Clinton and her associates;

5) The Department of State and its employees’ involvement in determining which communications of Secretary Clinton’s and her associates to turn over for public scrutiny;

6) Wikileaks disclosures concerning the Clinton Foundation and its potentially unlawful international dealings;

7) Connections between the Clinton campaign, or the Clinton Foundation, and foreign entities, including those from Russia and Ukraine;

8) Mr. Comey’s knowledge of the purchase of Uranium One by the company Rosatom, whether the approval of the sale was connected to any donations made to the Clinton Foundation, and what role Secretary Clinton played in the approval of that sale that had national security ramifications;

9) Disclosures arising from unlawful access to Democratic National Committee’s (DNC) computer systems, including inappropriate collusion between the DNC and the Clinton campaign to undermine Senator Bernie Sanders’ presidential campaign;

10) Post-election accusations by the President that he was wiretapped by the previous Administration, and whether Mr. Comey and Ms. Lynch had any knowledge of efforts made by any federal agency to unlawfully monitor communications of then-candidate Trump or his associates;

11) Selected leaks of classified information related to the unmasking of U.S. person identities incidentally collected upon by the intelligence community, incvluding an assessment of whether anyone in the Obama Administration, incliding Mr. Comey, Ms. Lynch, Ms. Susan Rice, Ms. Samantha Power, or others, had any knowledge about the “unmasking” of individuals on the then-candidate Trump’s campaign tean, transitions team, or both;

12) Admitted leaks by Mr. Comey to Columbus University law professor, Daniel Richman, regarding conversations between Mr. Comey and President Trump, how the leaked information was purposefully released to lead to the appointment of a special counsel, and whether any classified information was included in the now infamous “Comey memos”;

13) Mr. Comey’s and the FBI’s apparent reliance on “Fusion GPS” int its investigation of the Trump campaign, including the company’s creation of a “dossier” of information about Mr. Trump, that dossier’s commission and dissemination in the months before and after the 2016 election, whether the FBI paid anyone connected to the dossier, and the intelligence sources of Fusion GPS or any other person or company forking for Fusion GPS and its affiliates; and

14) Any and all potential leaks originated by Mr. Comey and provided to author Michael Schmidt dating back to 1993.

Things are looking up :good4u:

A chain is only as strong as its weakest link....eventually someone is going to squeal like a pig and the domino's will begin to fall. Hell he's already admitted to giving information to his friend (a liberal university law prof...who very well new that it was a crime as admitted by Comey at the close of his testimony when he told them the reason for the leak was specifically made to "undermine" the United States Presidency) who leaked to the press in order to manipulate an ongoing congressional hearing and prompt a special counsel to investigate the president who fired him for incompetence. The first one that finds him/herself cornered and facing a real indictment that means real jail time will sing like a bird with the hope of getting immunity for themselves....tis the flaw with all political criminals they look out first and foremost for "SELF". Talk about stepping in your own trap...Comey is well underway to an official indictment.

I'd venture to say that Obama's former Justice head is sweating BB's.

Too funny, that is not a special council being appointed, rather a group of twenty Congressman, actually the Freedom Caucus, asking for a Special Council to investigate the talk radio conspiracies the right has been using to attempt to draw attention off of KremlinGate.

And that is all it is, but you got to love the way some conservatives frame facts, and they talk about fake news

You have to admit it, there's quite a bit of 'there', there lol.

99%'talk radio conspiracies, the GOP just spent five years I nine investigations trying to prove half of them, so they are either falsehoods or the GOP is the world's worst invesrigators

Its simple.....just demonstrate anything presented to be FALSE. Regardless of how a fact is framed....a fact remains neutral to the reality that created it. FYI: BS never refutes facts in evidence....your trouble is how you attempt to frame a personal biased opinion in the hopes that someone is stupid enough to believe that BS checks reality. Just where is the reference to "talk radio" mentioned in the request? Between your snowflake ears? What? Because someone talks about the facts...makes those facts non-existent? Really? So (in your opinion) talk radio made Comey leak to the times, and made His boss suggest to him not to call the probe into Clinton's criminality an "investigation" but rather a "matter"? And it was talk radio that made Bill Clinton get on the plan with Comey's boss?

Now that is a run on words, a lot of BS attempting to establish BS

The topic implied a Special Council had been starated, nothing could be further from the truth, a request for a special council by a small group of heavily partisan Congressmen was written, that's all, nothing more, yet the author is leading the reader to think it was on the way. As I said, quite correctly I might add, framing facts to present a fabrication

Especially like the implication that the real news didn't cover it, ah, probably cause it wasn't news

Too funny, another one jumps in and buys the fabrication, no wonder the likes of Hannity and Limbaugh have made millions playing conservatives

Read the source, it is a request, the type request made often by DC groups, by twenty heavily partisan Congressmen and that is all, no Special Council, no investigation, just a request

But look at that laundry list of potential investigation subjects.

Lordy, it's a veritable smorgasbord compared to Russia Gate. Number 4 alone, is worthy of investigation. After AG Lynch recused, why would they skip a grand jury and force Weasel Comey to step outside his role of investigator and play prosecuting attorney? The very same Comey who took it upon himself to leak on Trump and force an SP appointment, that just happens, to be his BFF Mueller.

Did someone have an issue with grand juries? Afraid they would come up with the 'wrong' decision?

And that's just one potential subject off the list. Some of us are curious about why Wasserman's IT guy was so hot to trot to get to Pakistan. An IT guy that's intimately associated with the DNC, travels back and forth to Pakistan.

And given how lax the DNC is with cyber security, nobody is the least bit curious about this? Really? They may not have enough lawyers in DC to investigate everything on that list

Still, you have to love the 'prophesy' from our board clairvoyants.

Whereas it is no secret that trump likes to get 'leaked on', what exactly (be specific) did Comey 'leak'?

Bear in mind that anything the orange buffoon tweeted before Comey 'leaked', isn't a leak.

So have fun, while we anxiously await your response.
