South Africa nears collapse under black rule. Eskom facing bankruptcy

Everybody predicted this 30 years when psychopath bill clinton forced black rule on SA. According to the article, the average worker at energy giant Eskom gets $14,000 a MONTH! Most are blacks hired thru affirmative action and can't even read. You can't run a modern county without electricity. BTW - There are 5 rand to a dollar.

aug16 2023 Renowned economist Dawie Roodt said Eskom’s generation and distribution divisions are slowly dying, similar to South African Airways (SAA) and the South African Post Office (SAPO).

Roodt made these comments during a Firstpathway Partners webinar on how the United States has emerged as a secure sanctuary for many South Africans.

Roodt previously explained that Eskom is completely bankrupt. “It has been operationally and financially run into the ground. It does not work anymore,” he said.

Eskom currently owes around R420 billion. The Finance Minister announced that the state will take over between R150 billion and R160 billion of this debt.

He explained that around 40,000 people work at Eskom with an average salary of R70,000 per month.

“Last year, Eskom employees received a 7% increase. It is irresponsible. These workers are already overpaid,” he said.

Roodt said the government is trying to run things they cannot run, which causes them to collapse.

“The same is currently happening to the South African Post Office. It is simply coming to an end. It is under provisional liquidation, and it is also just dying.”

He does not think the Post Office can be rescued, even with the new turnaround plan, which requires another R10 billion bailout.

“They have had turnaround plans before, which failed. Whatever the new plan is, it will also not work,” Roodt said.

He predicted that Eskom would go the same route as SAA and the SAPO, where it is slowly dying and the private sector taking over its functions.

It's hard to say for sure. Whether the SA government collapses will depend on the outcome of the SA 2024 elections


But Right now, South Africa is teetering on the cusp of becoming a "Failed State".


A "Failed State" is a country whose government is regarded as having failed in its basic responsibilities such as: keeping the legal system working correctly and providing public services (electricity, water education and hospitals, etc).


The most critical failure right now, in SA, is that the state-owned power company "Eskom" is basically bankrupt as a result of government corruption. Eskom is currently unable to provide a consistent supply of electricity to the country and there are black-out lasting around 10 hour+ EVERY DAY in the nation. This means most businesses and housesholds and every damned thing that uses electricity: computer, schools, universities is crippled. You cannot run a country like this - i.e. totally with power for AT LEAST 10 hours every single day; it's just not possible.



The root problem is that is South Africa today 80.2% of the population are Black (Megros) and the average IQ of the nation is 70 points. 70 points is measure that forms the threshold for a psychiatric diagnosis threashold mental retardation in America and most of the Anglo-sphere/North -Western Europe.


Ever since 1994 when Nelson Mandela was elected President of a Black-majority SA, the countries successive government leaders have been totally corrupt. Also, as you say, they have no knowledge, or more importantly, experience of competent Western-type statecraft. So when the White, minority Afrikaaner (Apartheid) government that that were managing the country were ousted. The Black administrators didn't really have the brains or political/management to run the country competently.



I am not arguing that "Apartheid" ever " smelled like roses", it was a harsh, racist regime, as you know. Having said that, a lot of blacks in South Africa today have said that they were better off under Apartheid than they are at present. In other words the Apartheid regime - while it was condemned for DECADES by the West (America included) as racist for its segregation policies and so on- still managed to provide the majority Black population with the basic services and resources that a competent government is required to. I mean, don't get me wrong, the housing, material resources and social services that the Aparteid[/I] government provided to the Blacks were pretty f**king ordinary, but they DID have access potable water, they DID have adequate food, they DID have schools, and I'm sure they DID have access to basic healthcare if they needed it. In addition, rape/other forms of sexual assault, murder and other types of violent crime/property crime were not endemic - and NOT through the f**king roof - (in terms of precedence) - as they are today.


In short, I think you're right. Black Africans are incapable of governing an advanced, White Western nation - like South Africa was for many decades before 1994. In the 1950s and 1960s many English relocated to SA for the sunny weather, outdoors lifestyle, beautiful natural landscapes, low/no crime, robust economy, etc. Johannesburg, Cape Town, Durban etc, were modern, attractive, clean and very livaable cities. But those English got out fast when the political heat in SA started rising, and you can't blame them.


Finally, I an not a racist - I take individuals as I find them no matter what their race/ethnicity. If I meet a Black dude I get along with then that's good - we might become friends, etc. Equally, if I run into a White guy who is an obnoxious pig and an complete ass-hole, I'll just walk away. So I find the whole "race - hate thing" that goes on between Blacks and Whites, (for example), really sad/depressing.

If I meet a Black dude I get along with then that's good - we might become friends, etc. Equally, if I run into a White guy who is an obnoxious pig and an complete ass-hole, I'll just walk away. So I find the whole "race - hate thing" that goes on between Blacks and Whites, (for example), really sad/depressing.

Everyone is a racist, you fool. The great evolutionary biologist william hamilton explained that 60 years ago. All animals have evolved to prefer animals related to them (share genes with) and distrust all others. When someone has a different skin color we automatically know they can't be family and are enemy.

Diversity is a horrible idea.

BRICS is having a big 3-day summit starting tmrw aug 22. There is talk of them adding 20 or so new members. They should kick out SA but i doubt they will since it's a big gold miner.
