You may get some bites saying musicians/entertainers get rich doing nothing. I don't think Will Smith is going to get a lot of sympathy here.

He'll have to do some 'Rehabilitation' here before coming back into 'MegaStar'.

God!
I so wished Chris Rock's Crew would have pulled guns and started shooting. Then ... Will Smith's Crew would have pulled theirs and started shooting the place up. And, and ... everybody started running, and trampling everybody as they all headed for the Exits. Then, the Cops would have run around shooting people. This could have been a lot better. A LOT BETTER!

If he does Great! If he don't- there will be a lot of time to berate him!

He didn't assault you- He assaulted Chris Rock who just wants him to get well soon!

Redeem? How? He slapped a comedian in front of the world for telling a joke.How about OOPS.

My point is that I work very hard, but when I make a mistake, I do not have the luxury of checking into a clinic to alleviate all the stress and discomfort that my mistake has caused me.

I agree that he made a mistake and apologized, I wont hold it against him. He is a good actor. I like some of his films. Ill still go see his films.

Ive slapped people when I shouldn't have. Luckily it was not on national TV and I am not famous.

Jarod, you are not a bad man and neither is Will!

We are all humans and humans err. We all get caught up in the emotions sometimes and subject to act out of character.

Wills mother said, she us unaware of her son ever being violent before and I believe her!

Will is just going to have to do the time because he did the crime. He is being punished by the Academy now. And that will be his time- Banned from the academy for 10 years.

I was taught to be a forgiving man! So, I am hopeful he will redeem himself and make this up to his many fans that he let down.

There are millions of ways for him to redeem himself.

People are humans! Humans are emotional creatures. Humans err.

What he did was unacceptable in a modern civilized society, and he will pay the price for his Brain-Fart mistake.

I'll go so far as to say Chris Rock's joke was seriously lame, but Will Smith completely overreacted to it. For most people, what he did would have gotten them arrested.

Walking on stage and smacking someone is not a "Brain-Fart."
