Democrats procure flags for convention stage after embarrassing oversight leaves Old Glory missing from Monday night's festivities

Monday night's Democratic convention featured a sleek digital background – but no actual flags were found on the stage
Donald Trump's GOP convention was bathed in patriotic imagery. A total of 36 American flags were on the stage during Trump's speech last week
Democrats instead opted for a sleek gray background, with digital images of stars
After the flag-less stage was reported on Monday night, flags were wheeled onto the stage Tuesday

Demagogues love symbols, it makes their followers happy. Trump surrounds himself in symbols and guess where his clothing is made? Another clown full of pretentious symbolism is Rush Limbaugh, a real patriot who drives a Maybach. Rush loves America so much he supports union workers, who make twice our union workers, have socialized medicine and free college. I give Trump a little credit for at least he drives American cars. It's what you do, it's what you do that matters. Waving a flag is nice but that's all.

Trump never thanks the vets for serving in Iraq and Afghanistan, so it was just a bunch of flag waving and very little real patriotism.
