Democrats made this mess passing Obamacare to begin with. It doesn't help that their attempts at funding it has all been a terrible failure. For the seven percent or so of Americans that were forced onto Obamacare, this is now a financial disaster for them that the Democrats caused. We're stuck with this mess and there's no easy solution to it. We should probably just do away with Obamacare and go back to what things were before it and maybe try again...

That's not an admission of having no plan but rather minimizing harm from the existing one. As I see it the best plan is to get government out of health insurance entirely, but that's not going to happen. The next best option is minimizing government's role in the health insurance market.
One could never get elected on that platform, most Americans disagree strongly.

Bullshit. It's individual polices and expanded Medicaid. That's it. It doesn't cover employer provided health insurance plans whatsoever.
I'm not covered by an Obamacare-type plan but rather through employer health insurance. In my case, Tri-Care / FEHB.
You can also still buy a private plan if you like and tell the government to get fucked.

There are 330 million people in the US, give or take. You're saying about 11% get their coverage through Obamacare. The numbers I've seen are 7% through the marketplace, 7% through expanded Medicaid. That's about 45 million people, with about 22 million each getting coverage as I stated.

It's actually closer to 45 million with about 23 million buying a plan and the rest getting expanded Medicaid.
Tri Care is for retired veterans, as well as all dependents in the military. That's small pool. FEHB (the plan Congress uses) covers all federal government employees. Most employers provide a health insurance plan of some sort with few using Obamacare to get that coverage.
