Last November Johnson proclaimed that the House would not consider aid to the Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan, until the Democrats gave them a border proposal, and when he got even more than what he asked for, a bipartisan proposal, he turned it down, and we all know why

So what does Johnson do now if the Senate has taken out the border and presents an allies aid package to the House? Basically, he is right back where he was last October, but now he has no reason to delay. And given his lack of leadership qualities, he is in a bit of a quagmire

You can bet the phone lines between him and Maralago are burning with activity
 
The Republicans in the House and in general are not trying to hide the fact that no issue is relevant right now
other than putting a Trump reich in place.

I only want to partition the nation by peaceful negotiation.
I know that nothing else will produce a tolerable result.
Other Democrats are still looking for moderate solutions that can miraculously solve immoderate problems.

Republicans? They're hellbent on blowing the whole fucking thing up.
They couldn't begin to explain why, either--it just seems right to their reptilian brains.

So you see no consequences if Putin marches thru the Ukraine? If he invades a NATO country are you recommending we also turn our back and let him have what he wants? And what about Taiwan, you don’t think China is watching this reluctance to aid out allies as it eyes Taiwan?
