This weekend "Saturday Night Live" opened with Fred Armisen as President Obama, delivering an address from the Oval Office. Noting up front that he'd failed to secure the 2016 Olympic Games for Chicago, Armisen's Obama said it was just further proof that his detractors' fears are unfounded: How could he transform the country into something resembling the former Soviet Union or Nazi Germany when he's failed to accomplish anything at all? "When you look at my record," he said, "it's very clear what I've done so far, and that is nothing."

But are SNL's accusations of Obama being a do-nothing president accurate? Let's run down the list of the nine promises SNL lampooned President Obama for doing "nothing" on to see where he actually stands.
 
The video was funny .. saw it when MSNBC played it .. but here's what I find even funnier than the video .. right-wingers jumping on the SNL, MSNBC, and any other "left-wing media" bandwagon that criticizes Obama. They'll be the first to post left-wing criticism of Obama.

What's apparent is that "left-wing media" and left-wing organizations will criticize, stand against, and make fun of democratic administrations whose course they don't agree with .. whereas, right-wing media and organizations, rarely criticize or make fun of republican administrations.

This was glaringly apparent during the Bush years.
 
How friggen pathetic can the lamestream media get when they have to "factcheck" a comedy spoof of the "Dear Leader"..

they really need to get their heads out of the Hugo Obamas ass and come up for air..

No wonder their ratings are in the toilet with the "Dear leader"..

I have to admit that it's fun to see the left stand as the butt of the jokes for a change....but seriously, did you really think we were referring to the Daily Show and SNL when we were talking about MSM and the liberal bias?.....true, MSNBC may THINK they are the Daily Show, but they just don't have the audience to prove it.....

I've heard many on your side of the fence that have accussed SNL and virtually everything that comes out of Hollywood as left-wing my brother.

Criticism of democratic adminstrations by the left is not unusual. Bill Clinton took quite a beating from voices on his own side of the fence, as has Hillary.

I agree that SNL does not have the Daily Show's audience .. but they also don't have it's courage. Perhaps that's just a cable vs network thing.
