A woman is being held in the Henry County Jail in an apparent accidental shooting at a hair salon that killed her co-worker.
Suripan Thomas has been charged with involuntary manslaughter and reckless conduct.
Henry County police Sgt. Joey Smith said Thomas shot Lynn Adams at the hair salon where both worked.
Thomas withdrew a pistol from her purse and was showing a group of people how the laser sight worked.
Thomas pointed the gun in Adams’ direction and pulled the trigger, hitting Adams in the chest.
