Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) suggested this week that prosecutions are not always justified when offenses involve basic survival needs.

There's a point to be made but it's pretty hard to see sometimes. If someone cant survive without turning to crime, there should be a place for them to go. Section 8 or something.

Maybe a publicly supervised monkey house. Like a I-beam superstructure with only basic needs and no privacy. Hammock hitches bathing fountain. Human dogfood dispenser. Uncovered out houses.

It's just better that there's no excuse for survival crime.

That's one of my points. No answer. Needs a case.

But there needs to be a solution. My monkey house idea is pretty good. Everything on webcam. No palat construction. Just you, hammock, your backpack, your locker, and public scrutiny with no expectation of privacy.

Contract social workers on weekends to show a path back to normalcy.
