From the article.....

My oath was to the Constitution, not to the politicians, and that oath will be kept. I won't "Just follow" orders. There is at this time a debate within the ranks of the military regarding their oath. Some mistakenly believe they must follow any order the President issues. But many others do understand that their loyalty is to the Constitution and to the people..

i'm sure that pisses you off, that our military members realize what that oath is for.

I understand that federal employees are not permitted to work on political campaigns. I don't know how something like this would fall -- perhaps it would depend on how active an individual became within the organization. I don't think that the troops are required to sign over their minds, are they?

Technically they are.

members of the military may join any political party that keeps itself within the limits of the constitution

while the president is the commander-in-chief, the president and every member of the military swears to uphold the constitution

while any member of the military may refuse to obey an order that the member thinks is illegal, that member will face a court martial to determine if the order was in fact illegal
