There may be, but I doubt it, it's a physiological fact that on average men are bigger, stronger, and more violence prone than women. Football players are the extreme of the male spectrum, women just aren't likely to be able to handle it.
 
Mark Cuban is talking about drafting that dude from Baylor, Brittany Gainer, but I'm sure that's just a publicity ploy. Michelle Wie played a few PGA Tour events but didn't really help her in the long run.
 
As a flip question, if men have to accept women on their teams, could you invert it and have men on women's teams? If the answer is no to one than no to both. Otherwise you're just stacking the deck.
 
I think the higher standard should reign. Thats typically men in a physcial sport. I think that if a woman can perform as well as the men than let her, but why make special concessions for her? Why weaken the sport and its integrity? nothing against anyone, you just can't compete.

I actually feel that way about a lot of jobs/sports/military. Keep up or go home.
