Should federal troops be policing the states?

The Dems want the separation of powers to stay.
Too funny! The cornerstone of Democrat lawfare is the unification of power under Democrat-appointed judges who can block all opposition from the Legislative and Executive branches, while simultaneously protecting Democrats by sealing damning Epstein grand jury testimony, as an example.

Ok then, please explain yourself unless it's just a case of unjustified paranoia. Law enforcement allows people to exercise their rights, not the opposite. My point was that more law enforcement means more freedom for law abiding citizens. To be more accurate, having the right amount of law enforcement affords law abiding citizens more freedom.

How can you determine the 'right' number of police? It's really simple, anywhere crime is a problem add more police until the problem is remedied, that may mean 1 or 100, whatever it takes. Crime problem solved, guaranteed. How does that harm anyone but those breaking the law? What exactly are you talking about? Be specific please.

How do you imagine the police infringing on your ability to pursue life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness? If you're idea of happiness is buying an eight ball on the weekend, you might have a problem. In this country if you're really bummed about not being able to find an eight ball on the weekends you can start a political movement and freely speak about it and promote it and do anything legal to achieve your dream of legalizing cocaine for recreational use. What's not to love?
I see that you're one of those whose selective love of law enforcement allows a greater degree of cognitive dissonance..........

The enormous amount of legally contrived protections for cops who violate both the law and the constitutional rights of citizens is beyond anything that the founders would have allowed.

Ignorance of the law is no excuse, unless you're a cop. The courts have said many times that cops are allowed to make mistakes in good faith, meaning all they have to say is that thought that said suspect broke a law, even though there is no law broken, and the good faith exception applies.

Cops are allowed to lie to 'suspects', but if a civilian lies to a cop during some investigation, that civilian can be charged for lying to law enforcement.

exigent circumstances

furtive movements, rapidly evolving situations

we live in a world where police can panic at the mere thought of danger to themselves, but civilians must be cool, calm, and collected with a gun in their face.

I don't expect you to acknowledge any of this as anything other than 'cops must be allowed to do their job without fear of losing their lives or livelihoods'.................which is the perfect representation of someone who is terrified of the freedom of others.

That, as usual for you, makes no sense. The Dems want the separation of powers to stay. Trump is tearing it down. Even rightys should by now see how he is militarizing the streets. He is in the process of controlling the policing of America. He even started his own police force, ICE, that is loyal to him, not the Constitution. He is working hard to take over the courts, too.
you are lying. you only want separation of powers because a republican is president. ICE is not his own police force. ICE existed long before trump.

Tariffs are the responsibility of Congress.

Simply not true.

{ Reciprocal Trade Agreements Act of 1934, allowing the President to negotiate trade agreements without separate congressional approval each time.

Later acts, such as the Trade Expansion Act of 1962 and the Trade Act of 1974,}

And be happy in the knowledge that you of the radical left are who empowered the executive to have control of tariffs.

Trump decided he didn't want to make tariff changes the correct way and used a fake emergency to circumvent Congress.

Your claim is simply untrue. Tariffs have been under the domain of the President since the reign of King Franklin.

There was no emergency. Crime has been decreasing in DC before his fake emergency.

Again, untrue. The DC police falsified reports given to the FBI. I've documented this extensively.

Not even close to that amount.

Very likely higher. The invasion you supported is over - but the colonists are still here.

Wrong...and very weird.

You deny that the United States has the right to have a border and determine who may enter, who is eligible for benefits, who may vote. You demand that any person from any place can simply come in and have equal or greater rights than American citizens.

Yes, you deny that the USA has the right to exist - no nation can exist without borders.

Besides the point. Again, there are correct ways to address things that don't involve a pretend emergency. The closest thing we had to a true border emergency was during Biden's term.

They are not terrorists. They are gangs....as you literally just said.

They are terrorists - paramilitary crime organizations who use terror to obtain and retain political and economic control.

That you seek the destruction of this nation does not change reality.

I'm not doing all the work for you.

Besides the point.

Wrong and still missing the point.

I gave you several. You are pretending they are real emergencies because you simply can't criticize anything Trump does.

Do you try to sound as dumb as possible.

You're not doing anything but bleating MSDNC talking points. You can't support your claims - you just know that Orange Man Bad kept the dream of a Marxist dictatorship from taking hold - and it makes you mad.
