If Clinton wanted to really crush Trump right now, she should take a shift towards the center and ask for revisions to Sarbanes Oxley and Dodd Frank to reduce regulation on small business, small savings and loans banks and with the goal of freeing up credit for small business.

You would hear a stampede of center right Republicans running towards her.

If Trump had a political clue he'd do the same. Knowing Trump he'd call for a complete repeal of both, which would be completely stupid.

It wouldn't matter. If she goes there first he's screwed. Point being is if she started talking policies that are friendly to small business and entrepreneurs but keeps regulations for the big banks and investment firms she's win a lot of centrist Republican who far outnumber fringe Bernie brothers.
 
At this point, the winning formula is to paint her as dishonest. Every pivot, every DNC scandal, every leak, etc. is going to play into Douchebag Donald's strategy.
