What Clinton caught most of the flack about was his lying about it.

I think him getting a blowjob was no big deal. Yeah, his cheating on his wife was a disturbing sign about his morality, but the blowjob was meaningless.

If you want equality and the ability to choose your OWN path, then you take responsibility for those choices. She CHOSE to go after him.

Yes, you heard right. And yes, it shows respect for women. It shows that my view is that an adult woman is capable of making her own decisions. It shows that I, unlike some others, do not consider her choices the responsibility of others.

Its funny that conservatives will rant own about taking responsibility for their lives and that liberals want the gov't to be responsible for them.

And yet, when an adult woman makes a choice it is somehow someone else's responsibility?? Nice double standard.

women are attracted to power (dont even deny it)... and i would say that they both realized that in retrospect we can see that she had all the power after their dalliance.

not only democrats, liberals, socialists, communists, anarchists, tree-huggers, PETA members, gays, lesbians (these groups would obviously intersect on a venn diagram), and other far-left radicals have affairs. conservatives (ill stick to the general term for this one) do as well. we can sit here all day, every day debating the possible impact of the affairs of our leaders on a number of facets of the american culture. things like this have been happening everywhere, forever, on all 360 degrees (even the 60 minutes between each of the degrees) of the political plane. one specific incident is not going to change everything, if anything (especially not political views).

additionally, i dont think its anybody's business what goes on in the houses (more specifically bedrooms and offices, which seem the most used for this sort of thing) of anyone, including politicians. when they lie about it, it becomes our business. and i would say that in comparison to other lies that have been told over the years, anything involving 2 people's sexual intercourse is really on the lower end of the impact scale.
