A California man killed his mother and lit her house on fire before he climbed atop a tractor and cruised tranquil suburban streets, firing randomly until he was gunned down by cops, police said.
The panicked brother of 29-year-old Ryan Carnan called Simi Valley police about 4:45 p.m. on Saturday and said his brother called to say he’d shot their mother.
Officers rushed to the home on Mellow Lane and found it in flames. The woman’s body was inside.
