Senator's Teeth

Does anyone know what the deal is with Senators and teeth? I saw a picture of Mitch McConnell smiling this morning and thank God I hadn't eaten breakfast yet, I would have puked. WTF?? His teeth aren't yellowing, they're browning, they're rotting, they're crooked, and I believe some are missing in the back. It's so effing gross, imagine what that breath smells like huh!

I have long believed you can spot an American's socio-economic status by looking at their teeth. To a large extent. The struggling middle class can pull off the suburban alphabet (Gucci, Chanel, Coach) on their handbags, and a few other things, but after I'd say 40, maybe even 30 depending upon your genes and how you have cared for your teeth - in order to have straight, gleaming white, healthy looking teeth, you need to spend some bucks. You can have decent teeth that are less than pearly white, but you can't have great freaking teeth, without money. And dental work is obscenely expensive, and this is a big problem in this country and one that is rarely addressed. I think only Bernie Sanders talks about this. And it's a issue in a lot of people's lives. That's wrong.

But these guys are filthy rich, so what is the problem?? It's not just Mcconnell, John McCain's teeth are disgusting, a lot of them have this going on. I can only think of two possible explanations:

1) They have a phobia and cannot go to the dentist.

2) They enjoy being so above everyone else that they get a sick thrill out of making people sick with the various odors emitting from their mouths and the look of their disgusting teeth. Kind of like a King not showering and enjoying the spectacle of those below him trying to pretend he smells like Roses.

Whatever the reason, it's disgusting and I would like to see Obama (who has beautiful teeth) do something about this! I am sick and tired of turning on my television and being subjected to these gross mouths! It's bad enough the words that come out of those mouths, now we have to look at this too??

What is this, England???

LOL,

yeah this country needs dentistry to be made part of the comprehensive coverage.

I remember the story a few years back of a poor kid who got an infection in a tooth that lead to his death.

mental care and dentistry included in medical coverage because after all the head is attached to the body

I don't know if you remember, or if you even heard about this Desh, but a few years back an elderly woman had been quoted by someone, some media outlet, or maybe it was Sanders, not sure, about how she had no teeth and no money and so she sometimes used her dead sister's ill-fitting false teeth in order to be able to eat. And Glenn Beck found this hilarious and made a great deal fun of her, because you know, old people with no money resorting to desperate tactics is just so, FUN!

It's just diseased.

how the right became such proud compassionless creeps is hard to understand.

Its why I think the party is run by sociopaths.

4 in 100 people in this country are sociopathic.

It's obscenly expensive in the US. I had a dentist quote me ball park figures on some bridge work I need done. His guestimate was $8,000. Considering the lack of transparency in health care billing I imagine the total cost would probably be closer to $10,000 to $12,000.

Then I had my wife get a quote from a Dentist in her home town in the Phils. $500 and that's a firm quote. Oh yea....these guys have pretty much the same training as Dentist in the US have too.

Uhh there's also a certain amount of pride. Keep in mind both of these guys are in their late 60's or 70's. There's only so much a Dentist can do. They probably have to chose between keeping bad teet or getting them pulled for dentures.

lol

people who will DO anything for power are not just centered in washington but its a good place to get some power for many

Not a Senator but no discussion of teeth can be complete without Mr. Unibrow himself, the #1 NBA draft pick Anothy Davis. (In an ode to Desh yes it is racist to discuss a black man's teeth) I wonder what that single tooth in the lower back is thinking? He's just hanging back there alone. He can yell and no one will hear it.

Obviously this thread shows how superficial some on the left are. I suppose everyone should run to the queen of botox and ask her how many injections they should take per day too.

Who are you calling the queen of botox? I have never had any work, including fillers...though that does not mean I won't. But I hardly qualify as the queen of botox just yet.
