Make no mistake: either way, this was incredibly boneheaded. If he did it because he didn't know the policy, it's boneheaded. If he did it to tweak China, it's boneheaded.

It's clumsy, bull-in-a-china shop diplomacy, any way you slice it. It's the 1st indicator that the fear that many have about this buffoon is well founded.

It's also why "he talks just like us" shouldn't even be on the radar when electing a world leader.

If you think it is, next time you're in the market for a brain surgeon, make sure to make "he talks like I do" the #1 priority, instead of experience & qualifications.
 
Just because you like someone doesn't mean they have to like you. When choosing between China and the USA, Russia's going to choose China. No questions asked. Trump antagonizes China and hopes to make it up by embracing an enemy who has made no promises. He's retarded.There is no America anymore. Trump is not a representative of a nation, he is a representative of an ideology. This is just territory that Nazis use as their base to extend their power. China are the good guys, China is fighting fascism. Hopefully they come to the US and liberate us.

there is no innate Russian/Sino relationship either. Russian/Indian ties are strong, but China/India ties are strained.
( we need to improve US/Indian ties, even at the expense of the US/Pakistan strategic relationship)

I do agree US/Russian ties are at their worst under Obama. Russian/NATO relations are cold -if not cold war.

The key is to ACCEPT Russian security needs as real -that is Trump's view. Once this mono-polar view of the world is killed off-
it's quite possible to improve Russian / West ties; if not the US/Russian relationship

Most sane people would call it common courtesy to take a call from a foreign leader.......


Back in 2008, Obama returned 22 calls from foreign leaders in what was described at the time as a considered strategy prioritizing leaders from countries with strategic importance and the time they called, according to Partnership for Public Service, a nonpartisan, nonprofit organization.



Trump's transition team have released a list of 29 foreign leaders that it said have spoken to the President-elect and vice president-elect.
This time its called a breach of policy by the elites and boneheaded by the obviously stupid....

The double standard was created by the left and its all they know.....Hypocrites to the bone.
