Sea level is dropping

I was wrong in the headline. The rate of increase has slowed.

thank you for the correction - the chart shows that the rate has gone negative on more than one occasion, but the overall rate has increased over time

bummer for people living on coral islands and low coastal regions

just a normal variation - check back in a few years and see if it is still dropping but otherwise it is still up over a significant period of time
Hey ... don't sweat it...
About 80 million years ago—a time when dinosaurs ruled the Earth—global sea levels were roughly 560 feet (170 meters) higher than they are today.

Probably due to auto emissions and backyard barbecue pits....

I think cow farts also played a big part.

Have you seen the size of a T-Rex? Just imagine the number of B-B-Q steaks needed for a party of, say, 15 or 20.

T-Rex was a midget compared to [SIZE=-1]Argentinasaurus, you could feed a village with one of those critters.

A human shown in comparison. It would take a village to feed one of these!
