dec 7 2020 Senate Minority Leader Charles Schumer (D-N.Y.) continues to urge President-elect Joe Biden to make cancelling some student debt a priority once he takes office next year, telling reporters this week that the incoming president could forgive as much as “$50,000 of debt the first day” he assumes power.

“We have come to the conclusion that President Biden can undo this debt, can forgive $50,000 of debt the first day he becomes president,” he said outside his office in Manhattan on Monday, according to CNBC. “You don’t need Congress. All you need is the flick of a pen.”

The comment comes several months after senate leader introduced a plan alongside Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) calling on whoever won this year's presidential election to use their authority to cancel up to $50,000 in student loan debt for all borrowers with federal loans.

More importantly what do we tell the taxpayers, most of whom have no student debt, as to why we're suddenly letting people who went to college and made bad economic decisions doing so off the hook for that?

Does erasing someone's student loans when they have a degree in say pre-historic trans-Siberian literature or a degree in art-history of Polynesia going to do for the economy? A worthless degree is still worthless even if the student loan is paid off.

Colleges should not even teach crap like that. It should be all STEM. Of course that would mean no blacks and colleges would be all white/asian. boo hoo.

As i expected, you don't know what an executive order is. They are not supposed to be laws; they are supposed to be ways to enforce the law. If pedo-joe said he's going to use the FBI to track down the students not paying their debt, that would be ok since the FBI is an executive agency. But he can't use an EO to cancel debt. Trump never did anything like that. Again i beg you to please stop lying.
 
This would be part of the "Burn America down so that UTOPIA can arise from the ashes by magic program....this would be a breaking of the contract with those who keep their words, with those who try to pursue the good, this in an invitation to EVIL.

In reality one tends to get what is incentivized, which is why having good systems is so important, which these Modern Morons know nothing about.
 
A contract can not be cancelled without compensation to the aggrieved.

Every person who worked and paid their college loans must be compensated.

All married couples with no children must be compensated.

Does anyone see the insanity of citizens paying for college for their neighbor's children or a couple with no children paying for college for their neighbors' children?

What next, car loans?
 
I think its a great idea,,,,,so long as the order alo says they will reimburse me $50,000 for the student loans I paid for my kids......

Then too the Revolution was built at the Universities....which are about ready to collapse they are such a racket.....costing so much.....delivering a lot of Victim Culture Cult propaganda and not much else to many.....Even STEM is a racket to a great degree...another payoff to the Universities funded with generational warfare (Debt) is exactly something these fucks would do.....start with debt forgiveness and then move into "free college"....its time for the payoff.
