Sen. Schumer on the Three Branches of Government

He talks like a fool about the raising the debt limit and then gives us
a lesson on the 3 branches of government.....the liberal version.....

This should end more character assassination of Palin or Bachmann, but ....it won't.

WOW...you really are a person with a child mind. Creditors don't give two shits about your ideology or your heroes...

Join the adult world sonny...

Im so glad the likes of bravo are in the vast minority.

It would be dumber than dirt to not raise the debt limit.

Its kinda dumb to not get the point of the post.....I thought even the likes of you would know the 3 branches of government are Legislative, Exec. and Judiciary....not the House, Senate and President...but then, hes a Democrat so his stupidity can be overlooked.
Guess I give you too much credit....

And no one knows (or cares) WTF Bgrn is even talking about.....

raising the debt limit is the equivalent of telling a child to quit sending so many texts because of the increasing phone bill, then letting him keep the phone.

Another 'child mind'

Defaulting on our obligations is like taking a razor blade and slitting your own throat. Creditors don't give a shit about your right wing ideology, your urge to punish the American people or your immaturity.

I am sure he know the 3 branches of government. He misspoke.

It's scary how fucking stupid you right wing pea brains really are. Even Boehner isn't THAT stupid.

Boehner Warns GOP on Debt Ceiling

Minority Leader John Boehner (R., Ohio) said he’s been talking to the newly elected GOP lawmakers about the need to raise the federal debt ceiling when it comes up early next year.

“I’ve made it pretty clear to them that as we get into next year, it’s pretty clear that Congress is going to have to deal with this,” Mr. Boehner, who is slated to become House speaker in January, told reporters.

“We’re going to have to deal with it as adults,” he said, in what apparently are his most explicit comments to date. “Whether we like it or not, the federal government has obligations and we have obligations on our part.”

If an increase in the current debt limit of $14.3 trillion does not pass, it would suggest the country may not meet its obligations and would shake the financial system. It could rock the bond market, rattle the dollar and scare away foreign buyers of U.S. debt.

y'all are falling for the scare tactics of financial meltdown. the boogeyman of the nation not meeting it's obligations has you believing that congress must be allowed to continue it's insane course of spend, spend, spend.

massive cuts in non-discretionary spending is the only way the economy improves.

We can all agree that spending cuts are needed, but debts and deficits are two different things. You really need an adult to explain it to you.
