OK, those lines are just crazy and possibly knee jerk reaction to the SC rulings this week. I’m going to give PoliTalker the benefit of the doubt that he/she really doesn’t believe this.

Every time there is another mass shooting the knee-jerk reaction is more people go out and buy guns.

Gun deaths are a self-perpetuating problem.

People run out and buy guns but most get zero training.

Then the gun is in the home during big arguments. That's when emotional people do irrational things they later regret.

A gun in the home is more likely to be used in a domestic dispute than in defending property from an intruder.

A gun in the home is far more likely to be used for suicide than in defending property from an intruder.

Just the facts.

Nobody should have a gun unless they are completely free from any mental illness or emotional weakness. That rules out most people.

They only people who should have a gun should be those who are responsible and well trained to be a cold-blooded killer.

Police are trained to shoot to kill. That is how a gun is properly used. Anybody who is not fully prepared to be a killer should not have a gun.

Getting training once will not do it. It must be ongoing regular training. Situational training is the best. It's not cheap, but that way the reactions are there. They have been well rehearsed. There cannot be any hesitation when it comes down to shoot or be killed.

Owning a gun should come with required ongoing situational training. And regular drug testing.

Use drugs? Then you should not be allowed to have a gun.

Ya can't drive under the influence so you shouldn't be allowed to have a gun under the influence either.

OWI - Owning While Impaired.

It should be a thing.

It makes no sense to force people to bring new humans into a world where we have no resolved our gun problem.

Wanna get real rich?

Invest in tiny caskets.

Gonna be a boom market.

The conservative hypocrisy of these two decisions is stark.

We are going to bring more poor babies into the world, we don't want our government to take care of them, let the mother work with no paid maternity leave guaranteed (like it is in other countries with fewer mass shootings) and then we are going to make sure they can get all the guns these neglected kids want regardless of their maturity level or sanity, we won't check it before they can get a gun, any gun no matter how powerful or purposely designed and efficiently effective for human slaughter.

It's like asking for blood, lots of blood.

It makes no sense.

That is, if you really care about people, it makes no sense.

But what if that is not the priority?

It makes a lot of sense if your only goal is to profit from as many gun sales as possible. If you don't care about senseless deaths and you just want to get real rich, and you're willing to profit off red-stained gun sales then there you go. Makes all the sense in the world. It's just a matter of priorities, right?

The NRA was all for that decision.

The NRA represents gun profiteers.
