Democratic presidential candidate Bernie Sanders on Saturday reiterated his vow to keep campaigning all the way to Democratic National Convention in late July, regardless of how the rest of the primaries turn out.

"Hillary Clinton will not have the requisite number of pledged delegates to win the Democratic nomination at the end of the nominating process on June 14,” Sanders told reporters in Los Angeles on Saturday, according to CNN. “Won't happen. She will be dependent on super delegates.

"The Democratic National Convention will be a contested convention," he said.
Sanders criticized the media for accounting for super delegates when talking about Clinton’s lead in the race, saying that their backing of a candidate is fluid and those who support Clinton now have six weeks before they actually cast their votes.

There can't be a contested convention unless a third (or more) candidate has at least one pledged delegate. Crooked Hillary is now within about 60 pledged delegates of the majority. The only way the ÜbërÐëlegâtes swing-it to Bernmaster Sandy is if she gets indicted before the delegates cast their votes.

Mr. Clinton visited First African Methodist Episcopal Church in South Los Angeles, where he took aim at Mr. Trump and addressed criticism that he and his wife were part of the “political establishment.”

“This is not an establishment campaign,” he said. “This is an inclusion campaign.”

Sanders' biggest problems come from his crazy ideas that simply cannot be implemented. Granted, this Congress will never allow anything to be implemented, but 'free college' is just plain stupid. Instead of calling for tighter restrictions on banks, he wants to kill the biggest ones?

Bernie never expected to win anything. He simply wanted to get a 'progressive' message out. When donations started rolling in, it was evident that he could be in for the long ride.

When the money runs out, Bernie is done. Until then, he's enjoying his opportunity to articulate

ridiculous. taxes can go up if the money is used to reduce family expenses - a net win
military spending is down and will stay down ( with some exceptions) if we don't have to pay for more wars'

it's free in state college -the tough part will be getting the states to buy in, but it can be done with fed'l money.
I agree on vocational training, but just because he doesn't mention it specifically doesn't mean it wouldn't be included.
At least he's addressing the problem of student debt with a transaction tax, instead of Clinton's convoluted speculation tax.

The Republican party is in danger with Trump as the nominee - depending on how gigantimous the loss
it could go "down ticket". Ormaybe the remains of the Republican party might realize the country is swinging away from limited government.

If you don't try...you don't get. why not try? what is there to lose? sanders even has better numbers over Trump.

sanders is riding a winning steak. he was never supposed to get here, but he has based on the desire for "hope and change "fer real this time.. Clinton has talked left because of Bernie, but I agree she's a worthless corporatist, and will sell out for the first convenience.

she's already been Bush III on foreign policy, so what is there to lose with Bernie? I'm concerned with Bernie's naivete
on "American exceptionalism" ( leadership) - but we know Clinton is consistently wrong.

The Green Party’s likely presidential nominee, Jill Stein, penned an open letter to Californians on Friday calling for “All hands on deck!” In an unprecedented call to action that, if acted upon, could significantly cost the Green Party votes in November, Jill Stein told all Californians who are currently registered to vote as “No Party Preference” or “Democrat” to cast their vote for Bernie Sanders in the June 7 primary.


“California voters have a chance to put us on the road to revolutionary change in the June 7 primary,” Stein wrote. “At this historic moment, as voters reject the Clinton and Trump campaigns with record high levels of dislike and mistrust, I ask not just for your vote for me, but also for your vote for Bernie. These votes are powerfully synergistic as we build an historic grassroots movement and a political vehicle to carry it forward.”

“If you are registered as a Democrat or as ‘No Party Preference’,” Stein wrote, “please vote for Bernie in the Democratic primary.”

Stein says that the Bernie Sanders campaign has put up a “valiant fight, despite the shameless assault by the Democratic Party.” Stein pointed out the powerful shadow that superdelegates have cast on the election from the very beginning, election irregularities, manipulated conventions, stifled debates, and dishonest reporting from the mainstream media as the reasons why Bernie Sanders has even had to fight for votes this primary and caucus season.

“Still, the battle is not over. The Democratic nomination is in contention. The more the Sanders team can raise the bar for the people not the billionaires, the stronger we will all be for it,” Stein wrote. “I urge you to reject the propaganda of powerlessness peddled by the corporate pundits and party operatives of the liberal elite. They tell us all – Berners and Greens alike – we must rally around Hillary Clinton as the lesser evil alternative to Donald Trump.”
