The US State Department says it supported the approval of a possible sale of $165m worth of ammunition to Ukraine.
Antony Blinken and Lloyd Austin promise Ukraine $322m in US military aid, after meeting Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in Kyiv.
They also say US diplomats will start returning to the western city of Lviv in the coming week.
Russian top diplomat to Washington warns that the delivery of more military aid would be like “pouring oil on the flames”.
Several locations in central and western Ukraine have been hit by Russian shelling, including five railway stations and two towns in Vinnytsia region, local authorities have said.

Do I have to show you the pictures of Marupiel and Kharkiv again to remind you that your hero Vlad Putin is systematically destroying Ukrainian civil and civilian infrastructure --> housing, hospitals, schools, railways, pretty much any standing structure, in an obvious criminal attempt to erase Ukranian nationhood.
And humanitarian routes working to get innocent Ukrainians out and needed medical supplies in for those innocent Ukrainians targeted by Russians
Ukraine did not attack Russia. There is no justification - none, nada, zilch - for Russia to be destroying rail stations, civilian infrastructure, or reducing once vibrant Ukranian cities to piles of smoking ash.

NATO should never have insisted on moving eastwards, the US should never have assisted NATO by way of the coup of 2014 and the Ukrainian Neo-Nazis should never have been allowed to attack the breakaway regions for 8 years. As in all such urban conflicts the military use civilian infrastructure for cover. When you talk about such infrastructure being destroyed don't forget to mention that. Your mantra that Russians destroy for no reason is absolute horseshit. After all- it will be Russian territory if they win .
There are Uk regular forces in those cities.
Even the bombed out steelworks with trapped civilians also have (or just had) Uk forces.

Mariupol and Kharkhiv are both Russian-speaking cities. Putin's justification for this "special operation" was to protect Russian speakers from "genocide" and of course "denazify" the country.
Now we see Putin's plan - when the cities have been flattened, the people who are left will be safe from genocide and nazis! Smart, huh? I just hope the people are grateful. Do you think they will be?

NATO did not insist on expanding eastwards. Latvia and Estonia – the only members bordering Russia – wanted to join NATO ever since they became independent, and were finally admitted in 2004.
If they hadn’t joined, where do you think they would be now? Hint: there is a 25% Russian-speaking minority in Latvia.

Sure it did. The Russians got the promise that it would not- NATO reneged. Expansion is NATO policy- along with the collapse of the Russian Federation.
